Materials
The StorSystem “High Capacity Storage” wall unit frames are constructed from 16-gauge 1” (25.4mm) square welded steel tubing with an epoxy powder coated finish. The top panel is constructed from 18 gauge formed steel, epoxy powder coated sheets are securely anchored to the metal frames with machine screw fasteners. All wall unit upper frames are nested to bottom frames utilizing fluted, coated steel metal frame connectors. Units are fitted with adjustable feet.
The “shatterproof” tote tray structural Runners are molded from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) Plastic. These runners are secured to the steel frames with 1/4” tap screws. All cart solutions incorporate the patented Glide & Tilt Tote Tray Runner System. This innovative system is specifically designed to allow the accompanying ABS tote trays to stop in an angled open position without falling out of the unit, making for easy access and viewing.
Additional Specifications
- Top panel (on upper section only) shall be constructed from 18 gauge formed steel, baked-on epoxy coated sheets securely fastened to the steel frames with hex head machine screw fasteners. “Optional” pegboard and solid side panels shall be constructed from 18 gauge formed steel, baked-on epoxy coated sheets securely fastened to the steel frames with hex head machine screw fasteners.
- Product coatings are specifically designed to resist wear, abrasion, corrosion and chemicals.
- Glide & Tilt® structural runners specifically designed for steel construction shall be manufactured with a vertical alignment rail to the inside of the runner.
- High Capacity Wall Unit metal frames shall be provided with (4) coated steel metal frame connectors and (4) adjustable feet.
- Depths of all units shall be 17” out to out. The actual physical dimension of the upper frame assembly is 17”.
- High Capacity Wall Units are offered in two (2) “slim line” configurations: a double and a triple column slim line incorporating 36 and 54 modules respectively. Tote tray configurations, size and quantity are custom selected
- High Capacity Wall Units are offered in two (2) “wide line” configurations: a single and a double column wide line incorporating 18 and 36 modules respectively. Tote tray configurations, size and quantity are custom selected
- High Capacity Wall Units are additionally available in a combination wall unit, (1) wide line column and (1) slim line column combination unit incorporating 18 modules of each of the 2 tote tray widths
